MANNY IS PENDING ADOPTION - WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY MORE APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME FOR THIS PET

HI! My name is Manny but some call me Little Man. I'm a shy but sweet little guy.

I was found as a stray so my background is a bit of a mystery. I’m bashful, shy, introverted, timid, and coy so I was transferred to the rescue to help me find my footing and my forever home!

People can be a little scary for me but my foster family is helping me build some confidence in this area. I have started to come up and sniff their hand and let them pick me up to take me outside for potties or put me in my kennel. I'll also follow them around the house and will nap on the couch next to them especially after a long bout of playtime. I'm starting to bark at my fosters for attention but still nervous when they come close. I am VERY food motivated which is helping me to build trust. I just need a family who will be patient and help me on this journey to becoming a happy playful pup. The longer I'm with my foster family the more I put my sassy pants on and I'm becoming quite the character.

I am mostly housebroken but will have accidents at first until I understand the routine of the household. Once I know the routine I will bark to let you know I have to go potty. I do really well in a crate with my fluffy bed, a stuffed animal, and a chew bone.

My foster family has a really big German Shepherd that I like to hang out with or hide behind when I'm feeling a little scared. There is another foster dog in the house that is my size and I like him too but he isn't as playful as the big guy. There are two cats in the house and I am learning that they are okay. I can sometimes chase them around the house but run away from them when they turn to smack me for getting too fresh. If I go to a home with cats they should be dog savvy cats and have their own space to get away from me if I get too busy for them.

If you think we may be a good match, or you would like to get to know me better, please click the Adoption Application button below and you will be contacted to set up a date!
