HI! My name is Peaches because of my lovely color and how sweet I am!

My story is a sad one but my background is a bit of a mystery. I was literally tossed out like trash in a wire crate from a car onto someone's front lawn!!! Lucky for me the homeowner was there and saw this happen. She quickly took me in and reached out for help. I was taken to the shelter where I received the best medical and loving care. I was a bit shaken for sure so they transferred me to rescue to allow me some time to find my footing and then to find my forever home.

I’m bashful, shy, introverted, timid, and coy but once I get to know you I will fall in love with you and want to go everywhere with you!

People can be a little scary for me but my foster family is helping me build some confidence in this area. Though I approach with caution, I let them pick me up to take me outside for potties or put me in my kennel. I'll also follow them around the house and will nap on the couch next to them, I adore TV time.

I'm starting to bark at my fosters for attention but still nervous when they come close. I am food motivated which is helping me to build trust. I just need a family who will be patient and help me on this journey to becoming a happy playful pup. The longer I'm with my foster family the more I put my sassy pants on and I'm becoming quite the character.

I do well with most dogs and would do well in a home with another dog who is confident, calm, and cool with showing me the ropes. We don't have to be best buds but knowing there is another dog there that i can follow and learn from would be a plus, but it's not a requierment. I can do well on my own as well.
