PENDING ADOPTION

Hi! My name is Puppers, a name I have known my entire life as it was registered on my microchip.

I can be a super happy guy with a pep in my step. Being 12 yrs young, you would never know that's my age hanging out with me.
As an individual, I am a very confident dog. In fact, I like to be a big dog with all four on the floor, meaning I am not one to be carried as arm candy. Having said that, I mostly put on a big show, I actually love to be held, pet, and loved on once I know I can trust you or you give me yummy treats.

My dream is to be your buddy, follow you around, watch what you are doing, share your lunch, and be treated as one of the guys. I do get along with other dogs that are my size, as long as they let me be, I can live with them or I can be the only dog. I’m more of a people dog though to be honest with you. Sorry, but kids and I are not a good combination.

What I’m trying to say is that, while I am still a cute little dog, I want to move in and be a companion, a buddy, a ‘let’s just hang out and watch movies’ kinda dog. If that’s what you are looking for, are you willing to take a chance on me?

I was brought in as a stray with another dog that came from the same address. Even though we were chipped, no one reclaimed us. Because I have a unique personality, I was transferred to the rescue to help find the right home for me. Being at the rescue has been great and I have had lots of fun but I am SO ready to be in my forever home.

Oh, something you may want to know, the rescue has had all of my medical taken care of. That’s right! I was neutered, received all my shots, I was dewormed, I had a dental done, AND had a large mass removed from my back end. You can’t even tell it was ever there – how great are they!?!
