HOBLIN GOBLIN IS PENDING ADOPTION - WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING APPLICATIONS
Hi! My name is Hoblin Goblin because I was rescued in October and I have amazing orange colors!
Someone just dropped me off in a box on a doorstep. Luckily I was found by caring people and transferred to the rescue! As a young one I am happy, healthy, and still growing! I’m feisty, carefree, engaging, adaptive, and cheerful with lots of energy! So I am looking for a family who wants to interact with me often.
Fun fact about me! I am a Sun Fire which accounts for my really bright color! I am considered a juvenile so I am still learning to be handled and to be with my people. Though for my age I am doing fantastic in terms of being social! It means I get to see and explore new things and that makes me happy!
My foster mom says ‘Hoblin LOVES to eat! Bugs, greens, you name it, he will eat it. He also loves when we take him out and show him around the house to help him get familiar with being handled. He’s still a little one so he always wants to get away at first but once he knows we are going on a tour he calms down to take in the sights. He’s going to grow up to be an amazing and beautiful dragon!’
One thing you can count on though is I'm a great eater! Right now I still eat 80% protein and 15% veggies and 5% fruit. At about 4 yrs of age when I am double my current size this will switch to 15% protein, 80 veggies, and 5% fruits.
As a beardie, I require my own habitat as we do best housed individually from my age forward. With the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity I can live a long and healthy life of up to 12 to 14 years! Don't worry, the rescue will provide you with all of the information that you will need to prepare for my arrival :)
