BETTY WHITE IS PENDING ADOPTION - WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY MORE APPLICATIONS FOR HER AT THIS TIME

Hi! My name is Betty White and I am a sassy sparkle LOVE BUG!

I was brought into the shelter as a stray around the 4th of July. When I was found I was a mess so I was transferred to the rescue to help me get cleaned up so that I could find my new forever home.

Fun Fact!!! Even though I am missing part of my bottom jaw I can eat like a champion and I LOVE to give sloppy kisses!!

Bone loss in the jaw is usually due to poor dental care, something you no longer have to worry about because I am now toothless! It makes me look like I am always smiling, which makes you smile instantly when you see me :)

I’m a tiny tot who has lots of energy and just adores being with my people. I’m very happy, social, and outgoing and I can’t think of anything better than getting love and attention from my family! Affection is my middle name!

While I do get along with other dogs, it is clear that I have been accidentally hurt in the past so I would be good with others who are respectful of my size. I am happy to be an only dog too! Also, due to my size, I would do best in a home with mature / older children or no children.

Because of my jaw, I’m not one to play with toys much but I love treats and lots of lap time. I want to go wherever you are.

Though I may have an accident or two while I get used to my new home, I am potty trained when you are home but if you are gone too long I am pee pad trained, and crate trained too.

My doctor did an exam and said that I am in good health and there is nothing to worry about with my jaw but annual checkups are a must just to make sure. I also have slight allergies but I have an amazing supplement that takes care of them, easy peasy!

If you think we may be a good match, or you would like to get to know me better, please click the Adoption Application button below and you will be contacted by one of the adoption counselors!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to home introductions that are part of the adoption process, we can only accept applications from interested parties who are in or near San Diego County, California at this time.
