Hello! My name is Walnut and I am looking for a new forever family - could it be you?

I am a sweet and gentle corn snake - I try to be nothing but an angel! I am well tempered and I love to hide out in my hide, or sit with my head perched right by the glass so I can watch the world go by.

I previously shared a home with both cats, dogs, AND little children and really well with all of them. I even met a few people who "hated snakes" and my sweetness changed their opinion!

During winter months I tend to hide so much it will be weeks before I may surface again, and I get very active during the Spring.

Though there is no way to really tell what age I am, based on my size I am considered an adult at about 5yrs old now. My species can live a long and healthy life of up to 10 to 20 years. Bringing me into your family is a significant commitment, for both of us!

I can get up to 3-5 ft long and weigh between 2 to 3 pounds.

I will require my own habitat that is secure with the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity. Don’t worry, the rescue will provide you with all the information that you will need to prepare for my arrival

My previous family moved and couldn't take me with them, so they asked the nice people at SBRSC to help find me a new family. I am ready for my forever home. Could it be with you?

2- We do not ship reptiles but we may be willing to work with you if you are willing to travel if you are still in Southern California.
3- #2 will depend on the animal that you are applying for and is at the discretion of the board of directors.
