Hi! My name is Liam! I am a Common Boa Imperator.

Liam is an Irish name meaning "strong-willed warrior" and was given to me because I am a survivor!

I came from a hoarding case where I was neglected. When I came into care I had mouth rot and I was severely underweight. With the help of the shelter and then the rescue with a lot of medical care, I am back to a happy healthy animal and ready to find my new home! Is it with you?

Fun Fact - Because I lacked attention, I just love to hang out with my person. I'm happy to wrap myself around them and just hang out.

My foster family lets me hang out on the couch with her while she studies. It's the best! My foster person let me hang out with them on the couch to watch TV. They say I am a very sweet and gentle snake and I love to hang out and wrap around things.

I am a large snake that is currently about 5' long and 8" in circumference. My average length is between 5 and 9 ft long but I can grow as long as 12 ft! My lifespan can be from 20 - 30 yrs but again, some of us live 40 yrs long! To be honest, I am a bit too skinny for my length so I will need to fatten up a bit.

As a young and active boa, I require my own habitat that is big enough to accommodate my size not, and in the future that is secure. My new family must have reptile experience and preferably large snake experience.

With the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity I can live a long and healthy life!
