CORA IS PENDING ADOPTION - WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY MORE APPLICATIONS FOR HER AT THIS TIME

Hi! My name is Cora!

I was abandoned with my litter mates but a good Samaritan found us and took us to the shelter. There we received love and care to make sure we are healthy so we could be transferred to rescue.

Since I have been at the rescue I have a clean bill of health, received all of my shots, and have been spayed! I am ready to find my forever home, is it with you?

As a rescue, we don't know my breeds but the rescue is guessing that I am a Daschund mix and I could get as big as 20 lbs.

As a puppy, I’m a firecracker, frisky, zealous, lively, and high-spirited! I really enjoy playing, and would love to entertain you with my antics!

At this age, I am like a sponge in terms of learning. Enrolling me in a puppy training class would help me to be the best adult dog I can be! The rescue would be happy to refer you to some places to get me enrolled.

I am still potty training but I am crate trained and the rescue has lots of resources to help you with my continued learning.

Training, learning, and exercise keep me happy and content, without these, I can get a little worked up. I do best when I have a chance to get my energy out so that I can be calm later. Going for walks (still learning how with my harness and leash), engaging in play, and doing activities with my new family daily would make me very happy!

What thrills me most in life is playing with toys, chewing on bones, and sharing my love with those around me! Whether you’re big, small, old or young, canine or feline or humane it doesn’t matter because I am an equal-opportunity companion!

If you think we may be a good match, or you would like to get to know me better, please click the Adoption Application button below and an adoption counselor will reach back out to you!

Due to home introductions that are part of the adoption process, we can only accept applications from interested parties who are in or near North County in San Diego, California at this time.
