Hi there! I’m SnowBall Jack 🐾—but my friends call me “Screwball” because of my goofy personality and endless energy. I’m a young, 6.5-lb, high-spirited Jack Russell Terrier mix - basically a whole lot of happy packed into a tiny body. I’ve been told I can light up any room I walk into with my antics, cuddles, and curious spirit.
But life wasn’t always this bright for me. I came to the rescue in December 2024 as a frightened little stray, unsure of people and the world around me. With love, patience, and a safe place to land, I finally came out of my shell—and now I’m bold, playful, and ready for the next chapter: a forever family of my own.
I’m still young with some puppy-like tendencies, so I’ll need guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement training as I grow. The good news? I’m eager to please and super smart, which makes me very trainable. I need someone willing to show me the ropes!
As a likely Jack Russell mix, I’ve got a big personality in a small body—I’m feisty, fun, and full of zest for life. That means I need a home that understands little dogs with big attitudes and is excited to embrace both the joy (and a little chaos) that comes with me.
🏡 What I Need in a Forever Home:
✔️ An active household that will keep me engaged—both mentally and physically
✔️ No young kids, please—I do best with adults or older teens
✔️ A dog-savvy adopter who’s committed to ongoing training and structure
✔️ I might be able to live with another dog, but only if they’re playful and tolerant of my firecracker energy. I can be bossy with small pups and a bit of a challenger with bigger ones!
I’m also looking forward to long, high-energy daily walks, a healthy, high-quality diet, and annual vet check-ups to keep me feeling my very best. Working with a positive reinforcement trainer would be a wonderful way for us to grow together, too.
If you’re considering adopting me, I hope you’ll remember the Rule of 3s:
The first 3 days are for decompressing and adjusting to a safe, quiet space.
The next 3 weeks are for learning routines, building trust, and bonding.
And in 3 months, I’ll truly feel at home, confident, and part of the family.
With patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement, I know I’ll thrive. If you’re looking for a smart, independent, and loyal companion, I think we might just be the perfect fit. 💛
