I lost my beloved owner, and then a kind neighbor took me in—but when they needed assisted care, I found myself looking for a safe, loving home once again. Now I’m here, ready to find my forever family who will cherish me just as much as I’ll cherish them. I’m a senior little guy, weighing 9 lbs when my ideal weight is closer to 6, so I’m on a special diet and exercise routine to help me feel my healthiest. I love my walks and exploring the world around me—there’s still so much joy to discover! When I first arrived, my harness had been so tight it left a deep mark on my skin, so I can be a little touch-sensitive. But with patience and gentle hands, I’m learning that love doesn’t hurt—it feels wonderful. I’m not looking to be a pocket pet—I’m an independent little guy who enjoys affection on my own terms. I need someone who will love me with walks, snuggles, and warmth, without spoiling me with extra treats. My dental care is all set (I only have a few teeth left), so I’m ready to live out my golden years feeling safe, healthy, and adored. I’m looking forward to daily short walks when it's cool, a healthy, high-quality diet, monthly grooming, and annual vet check-ups to keep me feeling and looking my very best.
