Hi! My name is Paco!

I was rescued by a good samaritan who brought me back to good health but could not keep me. I was surrendered to the rescue to help me find my forever home with an experienced person or organization who has the space for me to continue to grow and stay healthy.

I am still learning what it means to be handled by humans. My foster parents have been taking it slow with me so that I learn from positive interactions. My first family didn't know to hold me to socialize me so I am a bit behind in trusting people.

This is also the type of person I am looking for to foster and/or adopt me. Someone with iguana or moderate to advanced reptile experience who is willing to commit to not only me right now, as cute as I am, but me through all of my emotional phases and growing pains. I am also looking for someone who will commit to me for my entire lifetime, which can be 20+ years, but also commit to giving me the right living situation as I grow. My length can be from 12 – 17 inches (Snout to vent), this does not include the length of my tail. And in terms of weight, if I am male (too young to tell yet) I can get up to 8.8 lbs and if I am female I can weigh between 2.6 – 6.6 lbs.

I am a vegetarian so all veggies and some fruits for me. NO BUGS OR MEAT! This will severely upset my health. I can eat a variety of veggies so getting creative so I don't get bored would be amazing!!!
